Table wine and food

There is no fixed rule about the combination between food and wine. However, there is still a common practice already in effect. If you are in a restaurant, the waiter usually follow a request to serve wine to accompany guests in food. Even so, sometimes the waiter will give advice on wine to guests. Here are some rules of combination of foods with wines, according to custom or tradition that apply in general:

• Red wine is served berasma with red meat (beef, lamb).

• White wine is served with white meat (pork, poultry, and fish).

• Rose wine is served well with red meat, white meat, or seafood.

• White wine is served before red wine.

• Light wine (wine alcohol levels of light) is presented before the heavy wine (wine of high alcohol levels).

• Young wine (wine young age) is presented before the old wine (wine aging).

After learning the rules, hopefully you can be more confident to serve wine or when ordering wine in restaurants. Enjoy wine
